The Pleasant Hill Farmers’ Market returns for the season on
Saturday, May 7. The market will be held every Saturday from
10am until 2pm on Trelany Rd. and
Gregory Lane near City Hall. The opening day ceremonies will be a fun-filled celebration to kick off the start of a
brand new season.
Local dignitaries will be on hand, entertainment will keep your toes tapping, and arts and crafts will keep the kids occupied. Trelany Road is the perfect setting for those wanting to buy locally grown produce while enjoying everything Downtown Pleasant Hill has to offer.
After buying some fresh produce, baked goods or kettle corn, you can relax on the lawn at City Hall and listen to music from the “The Famous ThreeO” band led by local musician and longtime Pleasant Hill favorite, Ken Cooper. There will face painting and a “Peach Pitch” game for kids to enjoy.
A variety of local farmers and food producers will be there throughout the season to provide fresh seasonal produce, such as strawberries, asparagus, cherries, peaches, and summer squash, and hand-crafted foods to enjoy.
Bring family and friends to enjoy your local farmers’ market. The market will remain open through the season until November 12.
