Veterans Day 5K/10K Run & Walk

The Contra Costa Blue Star Moms CA Chapter 20, proudly invite our family, friends & neighbors to join us for the 2nd Annual Veterans Day 5K/10K Run & Walk Saturday, November 7, 2015.

On-Line Entry

$30.00 before October 18th, $35.00 after October 18th to November 5th at 10am

Mail-In Entry Form

 Mail-in Entry Fees for both 5K/10K: $30.00 postmarked by October 18th, $35.00 postmarked by November 2nd.

 In Person Registration: Receive $5.00 off your entry fee when you register in person through November 2nd at RoadRunner Sports in Concord or Sports Basement in Walnut Creek (at Sports Basement you will also receive a 10% off shopping pass when you sign up and 5% of the purchase price comes back to CCBSM!)

Last Minute Registration: Last minute registration is available at Early Packet Pick-up at RoadRunner Sports in Concord on Friday, November 6th from 4pm-7pm and on Race Day starting at 7am. $40.00

Prize awards: to top 3 Male & Female Finishers in both races & for top Male & Female Veterans in both races!

Before & after the race: enjoy food & beverages provided by Costco, Grocery Outlet, Sunrise Bagels, Peet’s Coffee and Bills Ace Hardware.

Free parking: available at the park and nearby parking lots next to the park. Look for the signs.

Day of Race Registration: 7am-8am

Race Day: Veteran’s Day Ceremony 8:15am-8:30am

Races Start: 8:30am.  This event was created to raise awareness and show support for our many local veterans and raise money to provide support for active duty service personnel, promote patriotism, assist Veterans organizations and assist in homeland volunteer efforts to help our country remain strong. All proceeds from this race benefit local veterans programs Contra Costa Blue Star Moms supports in our area.

This professionally chip-timed 6.2 mile (10K) and 3.1 mile (5K) Run/Walk is a flat and fast out and back course route that starts in Hillcrest Park on the Delta DeAnza Trail, heads out onto the Iron Horse Trail and then loops back into Hillcrest Park ending in the park. There will be a porta potty & 2 aid stations on the 10K course.
