Poached Pear & Chocolate Trifle

A demonstration cooking class offered through Emeritus Community Education at Diablo Valley College

In this demonstration class, the students will learn about poaching pears, canning pears, making chocolate cake, marscapone cream and assembly of a beautiful trifle. Chef Masumi Kodama has worked with world-renowned chefs and helped Team Japan win a gold medal in 2010 and 2012. Her resume includes The White House, The Bellagio, The Modern and Pebble Beach Resorts.
