Concord's Sesquicentennial Anniversary

Fourth of July in Concord

Concord is celebrating its 150th Anniversary with many events this Fourth of July! Immediately following the annual parade which will begin at 10:00 AM, Don Salvio Pacheco, a founding father, will be honored with the official unveiling of a bronze statue of him in Todos Santos Plaza. From 1:00-4:00 PM, the Concord Historical Society will be holding an old fashion ice cream social in the garden of the Galindo Home, the first wooden home built on the land grant property of Don Salvio Pacheco in 1856! Along with the ice cream, there will be music. The ice cream is free but donations are greatly appreciated. So join in the fun and help raise the roof for the Concord Heritage Center.
