Attend a CASA Volunteer Info Session to learn how you can speak up on behalf of abused and neglected foster child or youth during the dependency process. CASA volunteers may be the only reliable and stable presence in a child’s life to help encourage, support and motivate them to keep going. Not only do children with CASA volunteers have higher graduation rates, but they also have a lower rate of being homeless or committing a crime.
CASA of Contra Costa County is committed to reducing the number of children and youth on our wait-list who need their CASA volunteer. We advocate for the rights and needs of all children and youth, regardless of race, religion, disability or sex, and working on increasing public awareness of CASA and the needs of abused and neglected children and youth.
