Alhambra Places at SkillsUSA

On Saturday, February 11, Alhambra students participated in the Regional Leadership and Skills Competition in San Jose. Kevin Christensen took 4th in Diesel Equipment Technology; Billy Carmichael took 3rd in Auto Technology; and Julia Coyne took the Gold in Early Childhood Education. These students advance to the state competition in San Diego at the end of April. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry representatives, working together to ensure America has a skilled work force. SkillsUSA is a national organization that serves high school and college students.
