Arbor Day Celebration at Susana Park

At 10am on Wednesday, March 8, Park and Recreation staff will provide free crafts and flower planting for Arbor Day participants. The general public is invited to participate in this celebration of trees and wildlife at Susana Park, located at Estudillo, Henrietta, and Susana Streets. Since 2003, the National Arbor Day Foundation has recognized Martinez as a “Tree City USA.” This distinction demonstrates the community’s commitment to urban forestry and promoting the benefits of trees. Residents are encouraged to support the principles of Arbor Day year-round by reducing, reusing, and recycling all paper products. For information, go to
