SWAN Day is coming to Martinez

Mar 07, 2015 08:50AM ● Published by Jennifer Neys

The 2015 SWAN Day event will be held on Saturday, March 28 at the Old Train Depot parking lot…Rain or shine!

Held the 4th Saturday of every March, SWAN Day – Support Women Artists Now Day –  is an international holiday designed to showcase the power and diversity of women’s creativity. The Martinez Arts Association sponsors this annual event at the Old Train Station on Ferry St. in Martinez.

Locally, the Martinez Arts Association has brought this international holiday close to home in downtown Martinez and has been celebrating for the past 7 years. With the support of the City of Martinez and local artists we have promoted the concept of celebrating all forms of art including visual & performing arts. This event is FREE and we invite all artists and lovers of the arts to join in the celebration of this amazing collaboration of artists.
